Big Variety Donated

Thank you Jeannette for this variety pack. She's donated crocheted squares (19), 3 pair of socks, a fleece blanket, and hats. Some of the hats are crocheted and some are fleece.

Remember one of our goals this year is identifying where everyone is from. Please check the lists for your name and see if a state is listed. There are many that are missing. Let's get your state listed with your name and make sure it's on the map.

2012 Donations:

Hats: 41+8=49
Scarves: 5
Slippers: 1
Shawls: 2
Afghans: 1+1=2
Mittens: 13
Squares: 19
Socks: 3
Misc Items are not counted individually (such as personal care items, headbands, yarn, etc)

**Reminder folks to please, please put a note with your donations so I know who you are and am able to contact you via email to let you know your donations have arrived. Please include a note, even if you want to be anonymous on the blog. I need to know for record keeping.**

All donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated, and all donations keep someone warm. We help, one stitch at a time. YOU truly DO make a difference. THANK YOU!

  1. Great donation! But having seen some of your blanket work lately Sandy, I think the squares are "da bomb" (as my kids would indicate being super).

  2. I like the fleece hats. Are they hard to make?

  3. Jeanette, this a wonderful donation! I would also like to know more about the hat (fleece) too. I do like to sew and they look like they might be a fun change. Keep up the GREAT work!

PLEASE leave your name and url, NOT a profile link, not a google or google plus. Only name and url will take me directly to your blog to return the favor of a comment.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
