Hats, Scarves and more for the Homeless

hats, scarves for the homelessOur good friend RoseMarie's done it again folks. By now I'm willing to bet some of you could look at the donation and know it's from her. Her hats are often edge in a different color which she coordinates with her signature button flower decoration. RoseMarie donated 4 crocheted matching hat and scarves sets, a headband, and more wonderful soap and shampoo for our personal care packs. There are also 2 pairs of slippers and 5 squares.

If you click to enlarge the picture (remember you can always do that to see details), you'll notice a little purse on the left just above the soaps. I'm going to use that as one of the personal care packages. We'll put some soap, shampoo and of course a handmade (knit or crocheted) washcloth.

Thank you RoseMarie for your ongoing support of caring for Ohio Homeless with your thoughtful donations. We appreciate it, and we appreciate you.

  1. Everything looks so cute and colorful. Everything so needed and appreciated. Great job!

  2. Couldn't agree with you more Bunny and Nancy!

  3. Great job RoseMarie! Love the colors and the flowers on the hats.
It's great to see everyone's donations. So thank you too, Sandy, for putting the pics up!

  4. Very beautiful.. That's a lovely shade of orange, too! It reminds me of Tennessee. That shade of orange and white are the Tennessee Volunteers' (college football)colors.

  5. I love the flower details. Just makes the gift that much more special. Your work is lovely and so much appreciated. Love the cute slippers. Perfect for toasty toes!

  6. RoseMarie, what a GREAT donation! I really think the purse is adorable and I love Sandy's idea of filling it with personal care items! What team work!!! Keep your hook flying!!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
