More goodies for the homeless

crocheted squares and scarves
Our long time supporter and friend, Sandie has sent a beautiful turquoise scarf and 2 interesting crocheted squares. I LOVE the color, sooooooooo pretty. The black and red stripe will also get put to good use. I'll be adding these squares to those I have on hand and soon be designing another ghan. Remember squares are being accepted for our Give a Square Program until the end of this month. (details in side bar)

Have you read about our special RainBow Project for the month of January? If not, please do.

Please remember all donations regardless of size and number are valued. All donations are appreciated, and all donations keep someone warm. We help, one stitch at a time. It truly DOES make a difference. THANK YOU!

  1. Glad you got them Sandy. That black strip was originally going to be a neck cozy and it would still work for that with a button or tie, but might be more useful in a ghan? It can be anything your imagination desires.

  2. You know, I thought about a neck warmer to, not sure yet. Will roll it around in my brain a bit, lol. I've already put your squares into a design though. Love the color

  3. Those squares were fun to make. I'm going to have to pull out that pattern and make more. If I recall correctly, there were four different patterns in the afghan they came from. Don't remember the name of it right off though.

PLEASE leave your name and url, NOT a profile link, not a google or google plus. Only name and url will take me directly to your blog to return the favor of a comment.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
