Crocheted Afghans for Faith Mission

crocheted tangerine lapghanLovely tangerine crocheted afghan from Mary in Ohio. I love the design. Mary, what pattern did you use? This afghan is suitable both in color and size for a female adult lapghan and or a sweet little girl. It is quite pretty and will keep either warm and cozy.
crochet yellow afghanThis second yellow crocheted afghan is also suitable both in size, color, and style for a little girl or a female adult for a blanket or a lapghan. Many thanks Mary in Ohio for your thoughtful donation. Those mothers and children at Faith Mission that we're working to warm will love these. Again...asking what pattern did you use, this is lovely.

  3. Those are lovely patterns. So thankful for the people that give to your wonderful ministry.

As much as I love the snow, and detest the heat, my thoughts always go to those who live out in it when those first flakes arrive. We are so blessed.

  4. I could be wrong, but the yellow looks like Lacy Blocks from Quick and Cozy Afghans book to me. I made it once in pink. Beautifully done.

  7. Hi Sandy. I crochet for charity as well. Currently I crochet for Hugs4HomelessAnimals (The Snuggles Project) and also Do Not Be Afraid I am Here Bears.
Guess what? I live in Ohio too and from the sounds of things, not very far. I live on the NW side.

I have 2 preemie crocheted hats done in my stash. I do have lots of leftover yarn, and I will do what I can to crochet up some squares, etc. So happy I found you!

  8. Hi Mimi, thrilled you found us. Cool that we're neighbors so to speak. Just sent you an email when I realized I was responding to your blog comment, so no doubt it's out there in cyber space. I'll swing by your blog to see if we connect.

    Sandy

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
