Thank you Lisa

Thank you Lisa! Some of you might know Lisa as fussy1 over on RAV.
scarves, hats, shawlWhat a nice collection of donated items here. Crocheted hats (5), scarves (5), a fleece headband, a fleece hat (1), a crocheted shawl, and 6 stripes of fleece a friend gave Lisa to send along. I used my pinking shears and cut the edges of 4 of the stripes, then cut and tied the ends for fringe.

fleece scarfI'm thrilled to have Lisa join us warming the homeless. She's had a personal battle and even going through chemo and radiation has been able to give of herself to help others. This unselfish act makes me warm and tingly all over. Many many thanks Lisa, YOU ROCK!

  1. Was just thinking about the squares project and noticed you have leave tail on end. Do you need that tail appropriate length to sew squares together?

  2. No, I don't really use it to sew them together as I tend to use the same color throughout the ghan, typically whatever I'm edging with etc. But, want to be sure people aren't typing knots and cutting. Thanks Sandie Just now taking a break from putting squares together as a matter of fact. lol

PLEASE leave your name and url, NOT a profile link, not a google or google plus. Only name and url will take me directly to your blog to return the favor of a comment.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
