Asking a Special Favor, Please and Thanks

Many of you are aware of my nieces long hard battle against cancer. Janet battled Osteosarcoma. She had multiple surgeries, spent a year of her life in the hospital (her senior year in HS), she endured massive amounts of chemotherapy. I'm happy to say, she is doing well. My favor is to ask you to suport her and her continued fight; by signing her dedication page. This page is part of the Lance Armstrong "Living Strong", action.

Janet's page is here

Thank you.

I'm happy to say, I've finally finished a scarf for our cause, (#102) and am working on another navy blue one. The color seems off in this picture to me, not sure why.

Goals:
Hats 178 (22 needed to reach goal of 200)
Mittens 43 pairs (57 need to reach goal of 100)
Scarves 102 (98 needed to reach goal of 200)

  2. What a great idea...placing Janet's dedication page here. I don't think she knows that Julie even dedicated the page to her yet.

What an amazing girl she is. I don't think I've ever met a more complete package. She's kind, brilliant, thoughtful, fun, brave, and strong. On top of all that, she's modest. Everyone is her equal. I think that's why she's loved by so many people. Okay. I'm gushing. She's hate that so I'll stop.

    We're lucky she's our niece!

  4. I added my sig too! I hope she gets lots!

I will be mailing off more mittens to you in the next few weeks. I always do my seaming and weaving in ends the first week of the month and get as much off in the mail as possible.

  7. I have sign twice but not seeing my name on the list. What could I be doing wrong. After I put my name and email address in there my name is on the list. But when I go back into to check it is not there.
I think the list is a great idea. I do hope she continues to well also.

PLEASE leave your name and url, NOT a profile link, not a google or google plus. Only name and url will take me directly to your blog to return the favor of a comment.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
