More love to warm those in need

knitted hat
knitted hats, mittens, scarves

I've been MIA a bit here folks due to some family medical issue (keep us in your thoughts and prayers please), but wanted to do a mini update here...though this does not bring it current.

Many many thanks to Joanne for 4 beautiful knitted and crochet sets of hats, scarfs, and mittens. Joanne your work is awesome. When I grow up, I wanna knit as well as you do. The hats and mittens are knitted and matching scarfs are crocheted.

Hats #146-147-148-149

Mittens # 30-31-32-33

Scarfs #68-69-70-71

As usual, you see Stella enjoying the warmth and beauty of donated items. Showing you a close up on one of the hats...isn' it fabulous!!

Many thanks. Folks I do have more items to number and photograph, but need to get to the hospital so will try to do another mini update later.

Keep those hooks and needles flying folks, the need continues.
**PLEASE sing our if you know who Joanne in West Hills, CA if so I can properly thank her.
****Reminder folks, please send your internet name, email etc when you forward donated items, as I often don't know real names. Thanks!!!!

  2. I do like the look of knitted hats and I think they are more stretchy than crocheted ones from what I have been told. Nice!

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.

Where The People Who Donate Come From, is your state represented?
