Christmas Comes-- Day after Day after Day!!!!!!!!

MITTENS and hats, and Scarfs oh my!

Christmas comes any and everyday of the week when so many caring people give of themselves for the benefit of others.

Mittens, #4, many thanks for the fun red and green mitts from Ghost, Stella wanted a really close look at them.

Crochet Princess (Beth), previously an Ohioan, A Buckeye. The one who's pattern is linked in a previous post...who's pattern is on her blog (designed specially for this group), sent 16 matching hats and mittens. There are 8 in each picture. Buckeye Colors among them, maroon, blue, many shades of green, camo etc.

Worked late again tonight, so by the time I got home (after 8 pm), had dinner, opened mail...a bit late to call my SIL, but can hardly wait to connect so we get these things passed along to Rae. The mittens are really going to add soooooo much to keeping them warm.

My thanks for all the continuous support in knitting and crocheting, for adding the blog button to help spread the word, for the prayers to keep these people as warm as possible and as safe as possible given their circumstance. You have no idea how much good you have and are continuing to do.

I trully am in awe of you all. Blessing to one and all.

  1. I can see why Stella doesn't want to give these up. Everything is wonderful.
    Great job ladies.

I didn't realize I still had items here to send out. I was looking through my stash and found a bag with hats and mittens in it. lol
I mailed it out today 2 day priority.
    Have a wonderful weekend.

  2. Wow! Awesome!!!!! I love the mittens and the hats that match! How long did it take to make all of those??????

  3. Wow would you look at all those mittens, scarves and hats. Watch those numbers jump now.

  4. I have a pair of mittens without thumbs yet. I have to finish those. I had a spot of trouble with the stitch count. What is the pattern for those green ones you have the closeup of?

  5. The green pair and most of those sent by Crochet Princess (Beth), are her pattern. It's posted on her blog. The one designed specially for us and this group.

    Thanks Sandie

  6. Hey Sandy...I have a friend who wants to join your group but she hasn't done much yarn work lately...she may need a few pointers...Are you up for that???

  7. Lovely mittens and scarves and hats. Nice to see the community of crafters sharing with those less fortunate.

  8. Sandie, right you are, the crafting community is awesome the way so many help others.

Where are You and Your Yarn From?

I'm trying to identify where everyone is from, partially for fun. Take a look at the map. Also, believe it will aid me in cases where we have several people with the same name. Please look at the lists of bloggers and non bloggers and see if I have the state you hail from. If not, please leave a comment and let me know.

Additionally, we've had help from Scotland, England, Germany Puerto Rico, Canada, and France! They don't appear on the map, but their help is still greatly appreciated.
